Why is it so hard to remove blood stains?

How to remove blood out of carpet step by step

What you’ll need:

Steps you can follow:

1. Act fast: The longer you wait, the harder it will be to remove the stain. So, it's important to start working on it as soon as possible.

2. Blot the stain: Use a clean, white microfiber towel or paper towel to blot up as much of the blood as possible. Do not rub the stain, as this will push it deeper into the fibers.

3. Apply a cleaning solution: First we will apply a enzyme cleaner solution via a spray bottle to the stain and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

4. Blot the stain again: After the cleaning solution has had time to work, blot the area again with a clean, damp microfiber towel, or paper towel.

5. Now blot the area with a cold damp towel and hydrogen peroxide. Do this by diluting the hydrogen peroxide 50/50 with water in a spray bottle and spray the blood stain. Then blot the area with the cold damp towel that is just damp from water.
