General Guideline of the Step-by-Step Process

1. Two detail technicians arrive on-site and review scope & safety.
2. Sign Mold Remediation Release of Liability on-site.
3. PPE donned: Tyvek hazmat suits and P95 respirators.
4. Thorough vacuum of the entire interior to remove loose debris and pet hair.
5. Full interior detail to remove grime before remediation:
   • Degreasing soap applied to carpets/seats; soft drill brush agitation.
   • Steam to lift soils; immediate heated extraction (Mytee Lite) to remove contamination.
   • Tornador pneumatic cleaning to purge seams, vents, and crevices.
6. Seats and carpets removed as needed; treated with spore-killing chemicals. Carpets may be power-washed or replaced depending on severity.
7. Headliner cleaned and disinfected; remove/replace if necessary.
8. Cabin air filter replaced and housing disinfected.
9. Doors, panels, dash, seat belts, vents, and compartments are cleaned and disinfected; panel removal as needed for hidden growth.
10. Run HVAC with an Ozone Generator to neutralize spores and odors, then air out vehicle.
11. Secondary disinfectant pass across all interior surfaces with spore-killing chemistry.
12. Apply Meguiar’s Refresher to bond a clean scent at the molecular level (optional).
13. UV protectants and leather conditioner applied where applicable.
14. Door jambs and interior glass cleaned to a streak-free finish.
15. 20-minute quality control check to verify every step.
16. Place a dehumidifier inside vehicle for ~24 hours to prevent regrowth; collect unit the following day.
17. Card on file charged after completion; we return next day to retrieve dehumidifier.
